Bei dem Gegenstrom-Wärmetauscher wird ein 15 mm Rohr (Seele) in einem 22 mm Mantelrohr geführt. Die Spiralführung hat aufgrund der Tatsache, dass die Strömung turbulent ist, einen hoch effektiven Wärmetransport. Das macht diesen Wärmetauschtypen besonders leistungsfähig. Als Kühler gewährleistet er geringen Kühlmittelverbrauch bei hoher Kühlleistung.
